The finest men's clothing store in Moberly, Mo., Duval and Reid, has been run by three generations of Reid men. Bill Reid Sr., who works alongside his son as he did with his father, spent his entire career of 58 years working in the store. "People come from 60 miles away to shop," says Bill Sr. In a town of 13,000 with retail stores popping up on the outskirts of town, a family owned business holds a historic, if not precarious, place downtown. "We are a dying breed," says Bill Sr. He's not optimistic about a fourth generation taking over. "Once you're gone, you're gone forever."
