  • For Donald Goslin, farming started almost as a hobby while he still owned the GMC truck dealership in Clinton over 20 years ago. After buying a small area of land to use for duck hunting with three friends he realized he could start farming it. That first adventure into farming led him to find a new passion in life. "There's nothing he's ever done that he enjoys more than farming. It's what he lives for. It's something he can say 'I did this'," said his wife, Florence Goslin.

Goslin, now 78, has been farming for nearly 30 years. "Every year it's harder and harder for him to do it, but he keeps doing it. He has to keep busy," said Florence. "It's just like a hobby for him."

Goslin now farms about 700 acres of land for himself and other farmers. "I love to work and I have to be doing something," said Goslin. "I'll do it until my body just won't let me anymore."
