  • Nancy Hall is a dynamic woman. Mother, grandmother, wife, friend and teacher, she is more than the sum of all her roles.

Nancy dropped out of high school after her junior year. Then, after having been married for more than a year, she had her first son on her 17th birthday. Nancy had two more sons with her husband, and eventually earned her graduate degree. She went on to launch a pre-kindergarten program at the Early Childhood Education Center in St. James, Missouri. Her program has already made a huge positive impact on the lives of over 40 children. Each day she helps bring the kids not quite ready for kindergarten to a level where they can go into the next school year with confidence and readiness. She recently welcomed yet another 5 year old as one of her own: the daughter of her son's new wife, her new and only granddaughter.

A resident of St. James for over 20 years, Nancy has been giving back for a long time and though she has been through several challenges in her lifetime, she continues to march on and and elevate those around her with her spirited personality and enthusiasm for life. Miss Nancy says, "I choose to have a good attitude each day" . It shows in all her actions regardless of whether she is at home with family, in the class room with her precious little ones or with her co-workers or friends.
