Associate Circuit Court Judge John B. Berkemeyer was first elected in1996. Since then he has worked at Gasconade County Court House solving everything from domestic disputes to traffic violations. And with the stroke of a pen he makes legal the marriage between a man and a woman.
Before that Berkemeyer worked as the county prosecutor.
Berkemeyer moved to Hermann during High School. A self-taught musician John plays 3 instruments in 13 different bands from Mozart to German folk. He lives with wife Sue on the outskirts of Hermann.
